For my loud, stubborn and incredibly determined Indi

Day 1 of steptember today! Indi is currently playing on the floor. For her this means rolling back and forth and intermittently screaming shrilly as she gets stuck and frustrated. We know her determination will prove to be a good thing as she faces hurdles with her physical development but in the moment it can be incredibly frustrating as a caregiver to have to stop our normal busy home life to go and entertain or move her in to a more accepted position.

Why STEPtember is important to me

Every 20 hours, an Australian child is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

I'm STEPing up this September to fundraise to support Cerebral Palsy Alliance in their mission to help people with cerebral palsy live their best lives.

STEPtember participants are passionate about being healthy, building a more inclusive world and making a life-changing impact for people with cerebral palsy.
