STEPtember 24

For people with cerebral palsy.. Together we take Steps of Hope

Hi All,

We're embarking on a journey that goes far beyond our daily routines—it’s about making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by cerebral palsy. Over the next month, we challenge ourselves to walk 10,000 steps a day. Each step we take isn’t just about meeting a goal; it’s a step toward hope, progress, and a better future for individuals living with cerebral palsy.

Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects movement, muscle tone, and posture, often making even the simplest tasks a challenge. But through our collective effort, we can support life-changing research, treatment services, and assistive technologies that can drastically improve the quality of life for those who live with this condition every day.

Every step we take is a contribution to groundbreaking research that could unlock new treatments and therapies. It’s a stride toward providing essential services that offer support and care to those who need it most. It’s a step forward in funding assistive technology that can give people the tools they need to gain independence and improve their daily lives.

Walking 10,000 steps a day might seem daunting, but when you remember the impact those steps can have, the challenge becomes an opportunity. It’s an opportunity to push ourselves, to come together as a team, and to make a real difference. Every time you lace up your shoes and start walking, know that you’re walking for those who face far greater challenges.

Let’s use this month to not only reach our personal fitness goals but to show what’s possible when we walk with purpose. Together, we can create change—one step at a time.

Why STEPtember is important to our team

Every 20 hours, an Australian child is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

We're STEPing up this September to fundraise to support Cerebral Palsy Alliance in their mission to help people with cerebral palsy live their best lives.

STEPtember participants are passionate about being healthy, building a more inclusive world and making a life-changing impact for people with cerebral palsy.
